Color coated coil is a product made of hot galvanized sheet, hot plated aluminum zinc sheet, galvanized sheet, etc., after surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatment), coated with one or several layers of organic coating on the surface, and then baked and cured. The color steel coil is named for the organic coating with different colors, referred to as color coil.
Color coated coil are lightweight, aesthetically pleasing, and have good corrosion resistance. They can also be directly processed and are generally classified into gray white, navy blue, and brick red colors. They are mainly used in the advertising industry, construction industry, home appliance industry, electrical appliance industry, furniture industry, and transportation industry.
The coating used for the color coating coil should be selected according to the different usage environments, such as polyester silicon modified polyester, polyvinyl chloride plastic sol, polyvinylidene chloride, etc. Users can choose according to their usage.
Hot dip galvanized substrate:
The product obtained by applying organic coating onto hot-dip galvanized steel plate is hot-dip galvanized color coated plate. In addition to the protective effect of zinc, the organic coating on the surface of hot-dip galvanized color coated sheet also serves as insulation protection and rust prevention, with a longer service life than hot-dip galvanized sheet. The zinc content of hot-dip galvanized substrates is generally 180g/m2 (double-sided), and the highest zinc content of hot-dip galvanized substrates for external use in buildings is 275g/m2.
Hot dip aluminum zinc substrate:
Hot dip aluminum zinc coated steel plate (55% Al Zn) is used as the newly coated substrate, usually with an aluminum zinc content of 150g/㎡ (double sided). The corrosion resistance of hot-dip aluminum zinc plate is 2-5 times that of hot-dip galvanized plate. Continuous or intermittent use at temperatures as high as 490 ℃ will not cause severe oxidation or scale formation. The ability to reflect heat and light is twice that of hot-dip galvanized steel plate, and a reflectivity greater than 0.75 is an ideal energy-saving building material.
Electroplated galvanized substrate:
The product obtained by baking with organic coating and using galvanized sheet as the substrate is galvanized color coated sheet. Due to the thin zinc layer of galvanized sheet, which usually contains 20/20g/m2 of zinc, this product is not suitable for outdoor production of walls, roofs, etc. However, due to its beautiful appearance and excellent processing performance, it can mainly be used in household appliances, audio systems, steel furniture, interior decoration, etc.
Top paint film:
RPE, SMP, HDP,PVDF,Other paints.
Function: It functions as a sunlight proof cover, especially prevent the destroy by the ultraviolet rays. When the top paint film reaches a certain thickness, it forms a compact cover, and reduce the water and oxygen permeability.
Primer paint film:
Polyurethane, Epoxy, PE
Function:Strengthen the adhesiveness between the top paint film and the basemetal. Even permeable water happens, the top paint film will not peel off. There is corrosion inhibitor which is corrosion resistance. Polyurethane is necessary for higher processing flexibility and weather resistance requirements.
Passivation layer
Function:Increase the adhesion between the metallic layer and coating film. Extend life span also.
Metallic coating
Function:The metallic coating provides the fundamental protection for the steel.
The popular coating metal are galvanize, galvalume and other alloyed metals.
Substrate steel
Cold rolled steel is usually used as substrate, it decides the mechanical properties and the steel shape and flatness.
Back paint film
Epoxy, Modified PE.
Back paint can sustain color in good condition and has good binding.
